Faculty Achievements and Awards (2022-23 & 2023-24)
The Civil Engineering department is proud to highlight the remarkable achievements of our faculty members during the academic years 2022-23 and 2023-24. Dr. M. Sridevi stands out with an impressive tally of accomplishments, including three patents and four published papers, bringing her total to seven significant achievements. Mr. I. Tejaswi has contributed to the academic community with the publication of one paper. Mrs. D. Vijaya has also been active in research, with two papers to her credit.
Mrs. G. Alekhya has made notable contributions, having published five papers. Similarly, Mr. Mohd. Khadeer has added three papers to his name. Mr. Shibajee Sutar has also been prolific, with five papers published. In addition to these research activities, Mr. T. Nagasrinu has completed a course certification, underscoring his commitment to professional development.
Mr. Shaik Saleemmiya has contributed two papers to the body of knowledge, and Ms. N. Sowmya has one paper published. Mr. E. Chinna rounds out our list of distinguished faculty with three papers. These accomplishments reflect the department’s dedication to advancing knowledge and maintaining a high standard of academic excellence.
Students Achievements and Awards
Our students have also achieved remarkable milestones. Ms. Durga Anjani Sreeja, a B.Tech Civil II year student (20AG1A0122), has been awarded a Pass with Distinction in the Business English Certificate Preliminary. This prestigious recognition, conducted by Cambridge Assessment English, places her at the Cambridge English Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International (Business Preliminary) and Council of Europe Level B2. Her overall score of 161 includes impressive marks in Listening (170) and Speaking (170). This exam was conducted on 25th March 2022 in Hyderabad.
Another exemplary student, Ms. A Shravika (17AG1A0123), has been awarded the Gold Medal in Civil Engineering for the academic year 2020-21. This award was presented by JNTUH in recognition of her outstanding academic performance among affiliated colleges. These student achievements highlight the caliber of our student body and their commitment to excellence in both academic and extracurricular endeavors.
The Civil Engineering department continues to foster an environment of academic rigor and professional growth, as evidenced by the significant achievements of both our faculty and students. We look forward to building on this foundation of excellence in the coming years.
